The Wanderers Ice Hockey Club was among the five founding members of the Scottish Ice Hockey Association in 1909-1910.[1] They also played a "house league" competition at Crossmyloof Ice Rink, competing against several other teams, during the same time period.

Two Wanderers players, A.J. McGuffie and T. Taylor, were members of the Scottish National Team for two international matches against England, played in March and December, 1910. The Scots fell 11-1 in the first match, but claimed an 8-3 victory in the return game.[2]

Taylor scored one goal in the second game. Another club member, J.W. Melvin, also served as a reserve (substitute) player
