Matyas Farkas (August 13, 1903 - June 1, 1981) was a Hungarian hockey player. He played for the Hungarian National Team at seven major tournaments between 1927 and 1936.

Farkas usually played as a forward but he did serve as one of Hungary's goaltenders at the 1927 European Championship, appearing in one match.

At the club level, he spent most of his career with BKE Budapest, but also played for Ferencvárosi TC and BBTE Budapest.

He competed in the decathlon at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam.
