Doonside was an ice hockey team situated in Ayrshire, Scotland. Despite not being Glasgow-based, they played out of the Crossmyloof Ice Rink.
They were one of the 11 teams to revive the Scottish Ice Hockey Association in 1929. After playing several challenge matches later in the year, they joined the Scottish League for its inaugural 1929-30 season.
Doonside finished eighth in the Points Competition and were thus placed in the Second Division of the league. They took fourth place in the group, winning one of their four games.
The club was disbanded after one season in the Scottish League.
