Match report[]
An excerpt from Peter Patton's 1936 Ice Hockey publication:
"It was anticipated that Oxford, with the advantages of a home rink plus plenty of League games, would win. Cambridge, however, as on previous matches were at a disadvantage but made a great effort and only lost by an odd goal in five. If Cambridge had possessed another player as good as Jimmy Carr, the Dark Blues would probably have had to be content with a draw or even possibly have been defeated. "
